It all started right after New Year’s day of 2012. To welcome in the new year with family and friends, I decided to do something different from previous years. I started to bake cupcakes… many, many, many cupcakes. A few weeks later, a friend asked if she could order a large custom-made fondant cake for a baby shower. This was a challenge as I had no experience with baking customised fondant cakes. I naturally turned to my creative mother for ideas and assistance. She taught me the basic principles of these pretty cakes. And guess what!? My first fondant cake was a huge success. After that, via words of mouth, orders started to stream in. These cake orders led to more cake orders. Before I knew it, MY CAKE STORY became a fact!

 

A beautiful cake in the midst of a get-together says more than a thousand words. My inspiration is found in the story behind every cake order. The cakes at MY CAKE STORY celebrate the many and varied story you want to tell from Happy Birthday to I Miss You, from Friend Forever to Babyshowers.
